Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MenuPal mobile application and website (together, the "Service") operated by MenuPal ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

MenuPal is a community-driven directory of restaurant and cafe menus. Anyone can browse published menus; signed-in users can add places, menus, photos, ratings and comments; and businesses can claim their listing, publish and style their own menu, and access business features through a paid subscription.

Menu information (including items, prices and opening hours) is provided for informational purposes. It may be added by the community and may be incomplete or out of date. The business itself is always the authoritative source for its current offering and prices.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from within the app; deletion removes your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Your Content and License to Us

You keep ownership of the content you submit to the Service — menus, photos, comments, ratings and other material ("User Content"). By submitting User Content you grant MenuPal a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, resizing or reformatting), publish, publicly display and distribute that content for the purposes of operating, improving and promoting the Service, including on MenuPal's website and official social media channels. This license ends when your content is deleted from the Service, except for copies that are part of promotional material already published.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to the content you submit and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it.

4. Community Listings and Business Claims

Listings for a business may be created by members of the community rather than the business itself. If you own or manage a listed business, you can claim the listing through the app; approved claims transfer control of the listing and show a verified badge. If you want a listing about your business corrected or removed, contact us.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Business features require a paid subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through your app store account settings; store refund policies apply. Prices may change; changes take effect at the next renewal and are always shown before you purchase. A subscription is bound to the brand it was purchased for.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• post content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, obscene or infringing;
• impersonate another person or business, or claim a listing you are not authorized to manage;
• interfere with the operation of the Service, attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or use the Service to send spam;
• scrape or bulk-extract content from the Service except as permitted by us in writing.

7. Moderation

We may remove or unpublish content, reject ownership claims, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put the Service or its users at risk. Where practical we will tell you why.

8. MenuPal's Intellectual Property

The Service, including the MenuPal name, logo, design and software, is our property and is protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that menu information is accurate, complete or current.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MenuPal shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access as described in Section 7. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3, 9, 10 and 12) survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your country of residence.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give notice through the Service before they take effect; continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
